Birt and Etho are best friends who spend their days playing together in cardboard boxes. Their two-by-two world is perfect until a new boy, Shu, arrives with a box of his own. Birt feels left out and jealous of the new "three-by-three" dynamic, but he eventually learns that a friendship can expand and become even better with someone new.
