This curriculum supports K-5 educators in teaching financial literacy in ways that are both developmentally appropriate and engaging for elementary students. Knowing the time constraints that elementary teachers face in meeting expectations for instructional minutes in reading and math, these lessons are kept intentionally short (under 30 minutes, in most cases) with suggestions for extended learning to be incorporated if desired. Although the lessons can be taught sequentially at each grade level, each lesson is designed to stand alone without the need to teach any one lesson prior to teaching another lesson at any grade level.
