The Holocaust can be a difficult and scary topic for elementary students to learn about. This children's book about Dietrich Bonhoeffer changes the face of what a superhero is. Dietrich Bonhoeffer did not have a cape, a fast car or a magic wand. What he did have were his words and his faith. In this story, Hitler the bully, is confronted and challenged by the hero, Bonhoeffer. Although the hero lost his life in the end, the bully was eventually defeated, and the hero's words live on today. Bonhoeffer's words and actions inspired generations of heroes, including Martin Luther King Jr.
