During World War II, Captain America and his sidekick, Bucky Barnes, find themselves going up against an unstoppable foe: a Ghost Army that's made up of the dead of this war and wars past. They soon realize their enemy is impossible to defeat because they can't die. Captain America and Bucky uncover the mastermind behind the ghosts, Baron Mordo, and they race to defeat him before he deploys his weapon on the larger scale.
