While living in a foster home in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and trying to figure out where they fit in the world, Morgan and Eli, two indigenous children, find a doorway to a fantasy world that is struggling to find enough food to eat. As Morgan and Eli try to help the residents of Aski, they discover new things about themselves and their place in the world.
