Beauty is sent to live in a castle with a Beast to fulfill a promise from her father. She befriends the Beast, but returns home to visit her ailing father. She has a dream that the Beast also is hurt and returns to the castle confessing her love for him. A spell is broken on the Beast and he returns to the form of a man, later marrying Beauty.
