When Louie and Ralphie Ratso and the Big City Scouts embark on a camping trip with Grandpa Ratso as their guide, Grandpa teaches them a scouting oath that says they should solve problems without asking for help. However, when the Scouts try to set up a tent, make a fire, and find their way in the woods without help, they end up tired, hungry, and lost. Fortunately, the boys reach out to their grandmother for help and she explains to Grandpa Ratso that he has remembered the oath wrong, and it's ok to ask for help.
