Arfy the dog is a helper at Butternut Elementary School. One day he accidentally brings home a turtle and must find the classroom where the class pet belongs. He emails and sends a variety of letters to teachers at school to see if the turtle is their class pet. Then he virtually connects with Mrs. Tortuga's class and finds the answer to his question.
