Twig is participating in her school's reading competition, but living in a tiny house makes it hard for Twig to get any quiet time. With her dad watching TV and her sister Turtle chewing bubble gum, Twig can't concentrate. When her classmate Matteo starts logging more reading time than her, Twig is desperate to regain her lead. She starts staying up past her bedtime, but when her parents find out, they decide to make some new house rules that benefit everyone.
