When she was a baby, Princess Rose was cursed by the evil fairy, Crabgrass, to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and die when she turned sixteen. Her parents spend the rest of their days protecting her, but on the day of her sixteenth birthday, Princess Rose sneaks out and discovers a spinning wheel on which she pricks her finger. Luckily, Tulip the fairy had been able to change the curse so that Princess Rose only falls asleep for 100 years instead of dying. Tulip casts a spell that puts everyone in the castle to sleep for 100 years until a prince from a far off kingdom comes to save Princess Rose.
