Sukie is a small dog who's afraid of being on the beach where the waves are big and there could be lobsters. So Sukie's girl, Eleanor, must carry her to the sand where Sukie watches fearfully, worrying about all the things that could go wrong. But when Sukie's stuffed monkey floats out to sea she overcomes her fears to save her best stuffed friend.
