Each communication device provides lighted LED displays, a specific number of buttons and excellent recording quality. The display areas can be changed and buttons combined to increase touch area. The touch membrane is sensitive and this sensitivity can be altered with a plastic inset. The devices can be accessed by individuals who scan providing visual scan option (red LED light). Auditory cues are available on the larger MessageMates (20 and 40) by recording a separate audio cue for each message.
